Tulsi / Holy Basil or Sweet Basil?

For all of those out there that would like confirmation

Tulsi / Holy Basil and Sweet Basil are quite different.

This post is to help those that wish to pray with Tulsi.

This is Tulsi

A variation of it called Rama Tulsi

Young Holy Basil and Asian Sweet Basil, side by side.

Mature Holy Basil and Sweet Asian Basil, side by side.

 

Krishna Tulsi looks very similar to Rama Tulsi, though there are more red colours within the plant.
